When looking for books for your research, start with Preston Library's online catalog, WorldCat Local, at the advanced search page.
In addition to the physical book holdings, VMI owns many electronic books published by the APA, which you can access from your laptop (on and off post) and VMI computers.
You also can search at Washington & Lee University. Note that W&L has a science library (Telford, located in their science building) in addition to their main library (Leyburn, hard to miss with a big sign out front). Come to Preston Library circulation desk if you need help finding the W&L libraries.
You'll need an official government ID to set up your account (driver's license or passport). Generally that library closes at 10 p.m. and you may wish to call at 540-458-8643 to double check on hours. They also do charge overdue fines, so be sure to return or renew your books on time.
