Canvas provides excellent, step-by-step instructions for faculty.
If your cadets ask questions about using Canvas, you may want to direct them to the Student Guide.

Depending on volume, you should have a reply within 24 hours, Monday - Friday.

Greetings,

The Canvas functions on the left-hand side of this site reflect a few basics to enable you to teach and maintain communication with your cadets.

A few tips with links on Canvas instructions:

  1. Publish, publish, publish! Your cadets will not see your Canvas content unless you publish the course! Many other functions will have a publish option as well! If you or your cadets can't see it, most likely, it's not published.

     
  2. CHECK your work! On the right-hand of your course home page, you will see a student view option to see what you're cadets actually see!

     
  3. Make your Canvas syllabus page be your home page. This is the most easy, esthetically pleasing entry page. You don't actually have to add your syllabus to this page!
