You aim to develop a white paper identifying a strategy to end the conflict in Sudan.

Paper 1 Prompt

Do the background research for this conflict to show how and why conflict (predation) is a rational choice for the main players, even if peace (production) is possible.

Paper 2 Prompt

Show how the incentive structures (including but not limited to culture and society) interact with individual behavior in issues of conflict and peace. The focus here should be on developing a strategy to end the war.

• Paper 1 will be incorporated into Paper 2 as a background section
• Minimum of 7 citations in the final 8 (or more) page paper
