Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Resources

At the direction of the Faculty Working Group for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Lt. Col. Ticen and Maj. Carroll partnered to create a growing VMI digital research gateway that includes scholarly journals and databases, educational resources, films, documentaries, Ted Talks, and podcasts. The Faculty Working Group for DEI has curated targeted research services and resources to assist faculty in generating related course content and assignments.

The objective is to increase the collection, contribution, and use of these materials together, as a community, beyond the efforts of the Faculty Working Group and Preston librarians. We are here to support research efforts at VMI firmly rooted in equity, diversity, and inclusion.

This resource guide was originally created in the Spring of 2021. Revised April 2021.
