Explore Our Learning Spaces

Preston Library offers a variety of study spaces, from individual carrels to large study tables. These spaces are designed to be flexible and used for different purposes throughout a normal academic day.

Most spaces are available to everyone on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to reserve a space, please see below.

Reservable Spaces

We offer a number of reservable spaces, including:

  • Group study rooms
  • Meeting rooms
  • Event rooms

Group Study Rooms

Cadets may reserve the following group study rooms using the Reserve a Group Study Room tab on the left-hand side of the page. Reservations are not required on weekdays before 4:00 p.m.

Meeting & Event Rooms

VMI cadets, faculty, and staff may reserve the following rooms for larger meetings and events. Please note that these reservations must fall within our normal operating hours.
