by Maj. Ashley Carroll on 2021-03-22T08:00:00-04:00 | Comments

The VMI Center for Undergraduate Research invites all cadets to apply to present at this year’s Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) on Monday, April 26.

Things to know about this year’s symposium are:

  • The symposium will be completely VIRTUAL.  We will use Canvas as the platform for the Symposium and we will hold the sessions in Zoom.
  • All presentations will be oral presentations (think PowerPoint); no posters this year.
  • All cadets and faculty can access the conference through Canvas (details provided leading up to the Symposium--registration not required).
  • This is an opportunity to present research results of SURI, experiential-learning or service-learning project, and creative works.

Find the application link here:

Notification of Acceptance: no later than April 16, 2021

If you have any questions about the URS or the application process, please contact LTC Karen Bliss, VCUR Programs Coordinator @

This event is sponsored by The Virginia Military Institute Center for Undergraduate Research and the Jackson-Hope Fund.
